ThealeBiz - The Theale Business Network
Welcome to ThealeBiz - The Theale Business Network

The Theale Business Network (ThealeBiz) is for companies and individuals who own and run businesses based in Theale and the surrounding RG7, RG8, R30 & RG31 areas of West Berkshire, with the purpose of promoting and growing local business within the community, and to "keep business local". The website offers a free directory listing, and acts as a valuable resource for the local community who are seeking to procure products and services.

ThealeBiz encourages company owners to share business information and help promote our local businesses through "word of mouth" marketing and referrals. It also provides a portal to promote local business news and events across the local and business communities. The aim is to learn more about each others' services, so that we can work together to increase local business in the area.

To place your business in the local listings is FREE. All we ask is that members actively try to refer and recommend each other. There are also opportunities for paid advertising across the site, contact us via email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Theale Wellbeing Centre

Theale Wellbeing

Theale Wellbeing Centre is run by Michael Palfrey and located on the High Street, and serves Theale, Reading, Calcot, Tilehurst, Pangbourne and other surrounding villages. They offer Osteopathy, Massage, Counselling, Acupuncture and other complementary health therapies.

The Centre has recently introduced a treatment, Intervertebral Differential Dynamics (IDD) Therapy, a specialist solution to aid slip discs. IDD Therapy was developed by a neurosurgeon in the USA in the late 1990s and has grown steadily since. There are now 19 machines in the UK and growing numbers of patients are benefiting from this approach. IDD Therapy is designed to decompress the discs and spinal joints and stretch the surrounding muscles and ligaments by applying a computer-controlled distraction force which gently draws apart the vertebrae and can alleviate pain, improve range of movement and, potentially, allow the patient to avoid more invasive procedures such as surgery.

Michael is currently offering FREE 15 minute consultations to assess patients’ suitability for IDD Therapy. If you would like more information on IDD or other therapies, please call Theale Wellbeing Centre on 0118 930 3535.
